About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Sales Specialist to join our team at Siemens Energy. As a key member of our sales organization, you will play a critical role in providing financial support and coordination to our Grid Technologies business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial and commercial strategies to drive sales growth and revenue expansion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze tender requirements, identify and mitigate risks, and create comprehensive bid proposals.
  • Lead the negotiation of commercial terms and conditions, and consortium contracts in coordination with relevant departments.
  • Support the regional head in preparing country and regional strategies for our Grid Technologies activities.
  • Contribute to business controlling activities, ensuring financial results align with set targets.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, legal, or accounting.
  • Proven understanding of financial controlling and management accounting (IFRS and US GAAP).
  • Experience in reporting systems/environments: ERP, finance systems, and financial digitalization knowledge preferably SAP, Excel, Tableau, and Alteryx.
  • Advanced skills in bid preparation, contract negotiation, taxes, and NCM (cross-border activities, transfer pricing), financing, accounting, and reporting principles, as well as claim and risk management.
  • 5+ years of finance experience, controlling, project management experience in commercial bid and sales management preferably in sophisticated projects.
  • Great teammate and experienced in integrating different perspectives with a clear results' orientation.
  • Cross-functional and cross-organizational mentality, ability to connect with people at all levels, comfortable working with a virtual organization, open to new ways of thinking and working.
  • Experience dealing with corporate financial topics and supporting financial aspects of business development.
