Job OverviewThe Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities in the solar market. This includes mapping major stakeholders, developing and executing new projects and accounts with EPC companies, developers, and IPPs in the renewable energy market.
Key Responsibilities- Map the market to develop and execute strategic initiatives aligned with the TE Energy business strategy and product roadmap.
- Understand the buying cycle and customer goals, and develop strategies to win over competition and recover previously lost business.
- Coordinate with the BDM team to influence technical specifications with strategic developers and utilities.
- Communicate with internal TE stakeholders to share relevant customer information and clearly explain and communicate customer strategic account growth plans.
- Cover key markets in the EMEA region, with a focus on major growing markets such as Spain, Germany, East Europe, and the Middle East.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the solar market and be able to develop and execute strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth and account penetration. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively with internal stakeholders and customers.
