Agency Risk Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Agency Risk Specialist to join our WFS Agency Management Team in Amazon Spain Fulfillment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the performance of allocated third-party staffing agencies across Spain, ensuring they meet contractual metrics and deliver high-quality services to our business.
Key Responsibilities- Performance Monitoring and Vendor Management: Own the relationship with allocated staffing agencies, monitoring their performance and holding them accountable for delivery against pre-agreed contractual metrics.
- Partnership and Advisory: Partner with staffing agency leaders, providing functional expertise to remove blockers that impact agency performance and support the development of effective vendor-supplied services.
- Risk Management and Escalation: Collaborate with the Agency Risk team and OpsPXT partners to address repeated agency underperformance or escalations, working closely with the Business Management team to resolve issues.
- Reviews and Audits: Conduct in-depth formal reviews and audits with staffing agencies to assess their readiness for event days, peak, and launch hiring, ensuring timely completion of required actions.
- Strategic Initiatives: Lead and contribute to cross-business line and country proposals for tactical initiatives that improve temporary labor hiring outcomes, considering both business and third-party staffing agency perspectives.
- Representation and Collaboration: Represent staffing agency requirements and considerations in cross-functional strategic programs at territory and/or country level, including technology, product, policy, or process changes.
- Transformation Programs: Support cross-functional transformation programs to define territory-level strategies regarding third-party staffing agency usage.
- Education: Masters degree or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience partnering with senior stakeholders to determine goals, inform decisions, and design long-term solutions.
- Vendor Management: Experience managing a commercial multi-site master vendor contingency agency or Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) model.
- Skills: Strong business acumen, good judgment, and ability to evaluate and make trade-offs between short-term and long-term needs. Skilled mediator with ability to balance conflicting priorities and find a path forward in difficult situations.
- Comfort with Data: Comfortable using data and evidence to convey ideas and recommendations on complex topics that scale across regions.
- Adaptability: Adaptable and flexible to respond to changing business needs while maintaining velocity.
- Team Player: Enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment.
