We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced researcher to join our team as a Tenure-Track Assistant Research Professor in Non-Communicable Disease Epidemiology. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and innovative researcher to contribute to our research program and advance their career.
Key Responsibilities- Develop a research group within the Environment and Health over the Lifecourse Programme at ISGlobal
- Collaborate across ISGlobal research programs to advance knowledge on the causes and mechanisms of non-communicable diseases
- Publish scholarly work in top-tier journals and secure external research funding to support research initiatives
- Teach at the masters and doctorate level, mentoring early career researchers and contributing to the development of the next generation of researchers
- Participate in advancing the strategic goals of ISGlobal in policy translation and innovation, leveraging expertise in epidemiology to inform and improve public health policies and interventions
- PhD in Epidemiology or a related field
- At least 5 years of accredited postdoctoral experience in non-communicable disease epidemiology
- A record of peer-reviewed publications and a strong track record of securing external research funding
- Demonstrated potential for leadership and intellectual leadership in the field of non-communicable disease epidemiology
- Experience in training early career researchers and mentoring junior faculty members
