Job Title: Senior Technical Consultant, Waste Infrastructure and Technology

Ricardo plc is a global strategic, environmental, and engineering consulting company with over 100 years of engineering excellence. We are seeking a Senior Technical Consultant to join our team and contribute to our mission of creating a safe and sustainable world.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical advice on waste treatment processes and technologies
  • Manage projects and liaise with clients in the UK, Europe, Middle East, and other territories
  • Review process and engineering documents, including P&IDs, PFDs, and design specifications
  • Produce feasibility and scoping studies to assist clients in making financial investment decisions
  • Develop basis of design documentation and technical specifications
  • Assess facilities and technologies for compliance with health and safety requirements, legislative requirements, and industry best practices
  • Lead and manage internal teams in the production of bids, tenders, and project work
Requirements:
  • Degree-qualified engineer with broad technical capabilities in process, mechanical, electrical, or other engineering fields
  • Willingness to travel for project delivery, including within Europe and the Middle East
  • Good knowledge of waste treatment processes and technologies, ideally with hands-on experience
  • Ability to mentor and support the development of junior engineers
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and desire to deliver influential consultancy support
