Key Responsibilities
As a Cyber Security Specialist, you will be a key contact person in our Cyber Defense Center, responsible for technical aspects of digital security incident triage, resolution, and closure. You will focus on complex incidents and high-risk events, and support technical aspects of digital investigation/forensic cases.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A degree in applied IT, computer science, or a comparable technical apprenticeship.
- 4+ years of professional experience in Cyber Security/Cyber Defense.
- Deep understanding of various open source and commercial analysis tools used for incident analysis, both network and host based.
- Advanced-level knowledge in the principles and structures of mainstream operating systems such as Microsoft Windows and Linux.
- Ability to program in at least one of the following programming languages: C, PERL, Python, Assembly (x86, x86-64) and common UNIX shell.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Confident communication in English, both spoken and written.
- Preferred certifications: SANS GIAC GCIH, SANS GIAC GCFA, SANS GIAC GCFE, SANS GIAC GNFA.
