Information Security Analyst

Dentons is seeking a highly skilled IT Risk Management Specialist to join our team. As an IT Risk Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security of our information systems and data, as well as our adherence to relevant information security policies, standards, and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Risk Assessments: Conduct thorough risk assessments of our IT systems, processes, and data to identify vulnerabilities and gaps in risk treatments.
- Security Posture: Respond to customer information security questionnaires and provide evidence of our company's security posture and compliance.
- Supplier Management: Review client and suppliers' agreements pertaining to information security and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
- Third-Party Risk Assessments: Perform risk assessments of third-party suppliers to ensure they meet our security standards and contractual obligations.
- Security Policies and Procedures: Develop and update security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure alignment with our company's objectives, clients, and regulatory requirements.
- Security Awareness and Training: Provide security awareness and training to our staff and stakeholders.
- Security Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on our company's security performance and compliance status and recommend corrective actions and improvements.
- Compliance Documentation: Maintain documentation of compliance activities, including policies, procedures, risk assessments, and audit reports.
- Internal and External Assessments: Assist internal and external assessments and audits to ensure compliance with client requirements and industry-specific regulations.
- Information Security Guidance: Provide guidance and support to business practices on information security-related matters, including data classification and access control.
- Staying Up-to-Date: Research and stay updated on the latest laws and regulations, security trends, threats, and best practices.
- Experience: At least two years of experience in IT risk management, audit, or compliance-focused role in information security.
- Security Knowledge: Knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and regulations, such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, SOX, etc.
- Risk Management Frameworks: Knowledge of one or more risk management frameworks; knowledge of quantified risk management frameworks is preferred.
- Information Security Principles: Understanding of information security principles and practices, proficiency in information security tools and techniques with the ability to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
