Role Overview:
As an Information Security Risk Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to safeguard the integrity of the company's information systems and data while ensuring compliance with pertinent information security policies, standards, and regulations. You will conduct risk evaluations, address client inquiries, and oversee third-party suppliers. Additionally, you will work closely with the Data Privacy Team and various IT and business units across Europe to identify and mitigate risks through the implementation and auditing of security protocols and controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute comprehensive risk assessments of the organization's IT systems, processes, and data, evaluating the effectiveness of current security measures, and identifying vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
- Address client information security inquiries and provide substantiation of the company's security posture and compliance status.
- Examine client and supplier agreements related to information security, ensuring alignment with policies and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments for third-party suppliers to verify adherence to the company's security standards and contractual obligations.
- Develop and refine security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure they align with the company's strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver security awareness training to staff and stakeholders to promote a culture of security consciousness.
- Monitor and report on the organization's security performance and compliance status, recommending corrective actions and enhancements as necessary.
- Maintain thorough documentation of compliance activities, including policies, procedures, risk assessments, and audit findings.
- Assist with internal and external audits to ensure compliance with client requirements and industry-specific regulations.
- Provide expert guidance on information security matters, including data classification and access control.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in laws, regulations, security trends, threats, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of two years of experience in IT risk management, audit, or compliance within the information security domain.
- Familiarity with security frameworks, standards, and regulations such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and SOX.
- Knowledge of various risk management frameworks, with a preference for quantified risk management methodologies.
- Strong understanding of information security principles and practices, with proficiency in tools and techniques for identifying and mitigating security risks.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying complex information security concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CRISC are advantageous but not mandatory.
