Lead Customer Success Solutions Engineer

As a Lead Customer Success Solutions Engineer within the SASE division, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our clients' secure environments are effectively managed. You will serve as their primary technical liaison, fostering relationships to facilitate seamless security integrations.
This role encompasses providing strategic guidance for product adoption, expediting integrations with innovative cloud security solutions, and delivering real-time support and strategic insights. You are expected to possess a high level of technical expertise, a deep understanding of SASE technologies, and a comprehensive grasp of the intricate landscape of cloud ecosystems and integrations.
Your passion lies in resolving critical challenges in demanding environments. In this capacity, you will collaborate closely with Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs), Security Architects, Customer Success Managers, and Development Operations teams within medium to large enterprises to deploy top-tier cloud security solutions.
Your Contributions
- Ensure clients are optimizing their investment by swiftly implementing and operationalizing Palo Alto Networks SASE solutions to meet their business and security goals.
- Assist clients in the deployment of Palo Alto Networks SASE solutions, ensuring full integration into their security operations.
- Act as the initial point of contact in proactively addressing client requests for technical support, coordinating and prioritizing timely resolutions with engineering teams.
- Advocate for clients by influencing product development and enhancements.
- Guide clients on establishing and managing their Cloud Security Change Management / Governance / Center of Excellence initiatives.
- Identify potential risks that may hinder clients from achieving their business objectives and collaborate with the account team to formulate a risk mitigation strategy or escalate as necessary.
- Develop a thorough understanding of common business challenges faced by clients and align features and associated business benefits to meet their needs.
- Become a trusted expert on Palo Alto Networks SASE security solutions and evolve into a Subject Matter Expert over time.
- Performance metrics will include Customer Satisfaction (CSAT), Renewal rates, Upsell / Cross-sell lead identification, Reference-ability, Renewal likelihood, Adoption, Consumption, and Customer Engagement.
Your Background
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent military experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in post-sales, pre-sales, technical support, consulting, or similar roles.
- Comprehensive understanding of SASE architecture and its value proposition.
- In-depth knowledge of networking principles and experience with multi-vendor networking devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and traffic generators.
- Enterprise-level design and troubleshooting experience with Routing Protocols (BGP / OSPF / EIGRP).
- Expertise in Remote Access VPN solutions, IPSEC, PKI & SSL, TCP/IP, and Authentication Protocols (SAML, SSO, LDAP, RADIUS, etc.).
- Familiarity with Linux, including BASH and Python scripting.
- Proven ability to manage customer escalations, balancing expectations and negotiating successful outcomes.
- Strong consulting and project management capabilities.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executives, and articulate their impact on business operations.
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
