Your Career Path

As a Customer Success Engineer within the SASE division, you will play a vital role in enabling our clients' secure environments. You will serve as their primary technical liaison, fostering relationships to ensure effective security integrations.

This encompasses guidance for adoption, expedited integrations with new cloud security offerings, and real-time support and strategy. You are a highly technical individual, well-versed in SASE technologies, and knowledgeable about the intricate landscape of cloud ecosystems and integrations.

You thrive on resolving critical challenges in demanding environments. In this capacity, you will collaborate closely with CISOs, Security Architects, Customer Success Managers, and Development Operations teams within mid-to-large enterprises to implement top-tier cloud security solutions.

You will be the frontline defense against the most pressing cybersecurity threats. The ultimate outcome for the client? Enhanced digital protection. The ultimate outcome for you? A significant career that influences our daily lives in the digital realm.

Your Contributions

  • Ensure clients are optimizing their return on investment by swiftly implementing and operationalizing Palo Alto Networks SASE solutions to meet their business and security goals.
  • Assist clients in deploying Palo Alto Networks SASE solutions and fully integrating these into their security operations.
  • Act as the first line of defense in proactively addressing client needs for technical support, coordinating and prioritizing timely resolutions with engineering teams.
  • Advocate for clients by influencing product development and enhancements.
  • Guide clients on establishing and managing their Cloud Security Change Management / Governance / Center of Excellence program.
  • Identify potential risks to clients achieving their stated business objectives and collaborate with the account team to develop a risk mitigation strategy or escalate as necessary.
  • Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of typical business challenges faced by clients and common objectives to effectively align features and associated business benefits to meet their needs.
  • Become a go-to expert for clients on Palo Alto Networks SASE security solutions and develop subject matter expertise over time.
  • Performance metrics include Customer Satisfaction (CSAT), Renewal rates, Upsell / Cross-sell lead identification, Reference-ability, Renewal likelihood, Adoption, Consumption, and Customer Engagement.

Qualifications

Your Background

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent military experience required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in post-sales, pre-sales, technical support, consulting, or similar roles.
  • Understanding of SASE architecture and its value proposition.
  • In-depth knowledge of Networking concepts and experience with multi-vendor networking devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and traffic generators.
  • Enterprise-level design/troubleshooting experience in Routing Protocols (BGP / OSPF / EIGRP).
  • Expertise in Remote Access VPN solutions, IPSEC, PKI & SSL, TCP/IP, and Authentication Protocols (SAML, SSO, LDAP, RADIUS, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Linux (including BASH and Python scripting).
  • Proven ability to manage customer escalations, balancing client expectations and negotiating successful resolutions.
  • Strong consulting and project management capabilities.
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executives, and explain their impact on business both internally and externally.
  • Capacity to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
