About the Role

The Senior Customer Success Security Lead is a key leadership position responsible for the deployment, adoption, and usage of our security solutions across all clouds and multiple countries. You'll work closely with our teams to ensure customers get the best value from their Microsoft Security investments. Your expertise will empower our teams to be proactive, agile, and responsive points of contact for our customers, and you'll be an effective technical voice of the customer inside Microsoft.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage your technical leadership skills to empower our teams and ensure customers get the best value from their Microsoft Security investments.
  • Lead the team to be a proactive, agile, and responsive point of contact for the customer and be an effective technical voice of the customer inside Microsoft.
  • Establish a culture that grows account references, advocacy, and loyalty for the CSA practice by maintaining high levels of customer success and satisfaction.
  • Grow and develop high-performance teams through hiring the right talents, ensuring technical skilling plans are followed, and aligning to customer and Microsoft priorities.
  • Drive usage growth of workloads through Customer Success Excellence, reducing competitive threat.
  • Embrace a culture of operational excellence, including timely consumption/utilization opportunity management, Scrum, and high-quality reporting and insights through proper tools and channels.

Qualifications

We're looking for a thought leader with great executive presence, including the ability to engage CxO and BDM level discussions, exceptional interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills. You should be able to generate trust, build alliances, and orchestrate interdisciplinary teams. People management experience, particularly as a manager of managers, is beneficial. Empathy, curiosity, and a desire to constantly improve, acquire new skills, and drive for results are essential. Escalation management and crisis management experience are also valuable.

Technical Skills

  • Demonstrated technical leadership through prior technical coaching/leadership roles.
  • Engineering, technical sales, consultative delivery management experience or equivalent.
  • Strong technical understanding of applications and infrastructure enterprise cloud workloads, with the ability to stay up to date on new/improved Azure scenarios and workloads.

Certifications

  • Certification of a major hyperscale cloud (e.g., Microsoft Azure AZ-305, AWS SA Professional) is preferred.
  • OR certification in one of the following technologies: cloud, web application development, cloud-native application architecture (e.g., containers, microservices, API management), modern software development techniques like DevOps and CI/CD tool chains (e.g., Jenkins, Spinnaker, Azure developer services, GitHub), and container orchestration systems (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, Azure Kubernetes Service, GitHub).
  • OR certification in one or more of the following programming languages: C++, C#, Java, Python (preferred).
