The Role

We're seeking a Local Regulatory Compliance Officer to own Dojo's regulatory compliance programme for Spain. As a key member of our Regulatory Compliance team, you'll establish and maintain a robust compliance framework aligned with regulatory requirements and standards set by the Banco de España.

You'll report to the Head of Regulatory Compliance for Dojo Europe and play a critical role in supporting the delivery of an effective Regulatory Compliance function. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing advice and guidance to 1st Line functions on regulatory obligations
  • Leading the delivery of regulatory reports to Spanish regulatory bodies
  • Developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures tailored to Spanish regulatory requirements
  • Providing training and support to team members on local compliance policies
  • Proactively monitoring regulatory changes in Spain and communicating their implications to the business
What You'll Bring

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Proven experience in a senior Regulatory Compliance role with regulatory knowledge and experience implementing compliance programmes
  • In-depth knowledge of the industry's standards, regulations, and payments/e-money regime in Spain
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate issues in discussions/presentations with senior stakeholders
  • A bachelor's degree
  • Fluency in Spanish and English, with additional languages an advantage
