About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Senior Process Engineer in the NGL Fractionation Department. As a key member of our Western Region Manufacturing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional process engineering support to ensure the safe, reliable, and economical operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform in-depth plant monitoring and optimize the performance of assigned units by overseeing operations and economic losses.
  • Issue detailed reports to recommend changes supported by simulation models to optimize unit operations.
  • Lead unit operations troubleshooting and investigate off-spec products and plant trips/upsets.
  • Manage the required deliverables and support operations during turnarounds and unplanned shutdowns/startups by understanding the unit operating conditions and transient effects to recommend operational improvements.
  • Perform specific tasks such as catalyst/desiccant forecasts/evaluations, test runs, debottlenecking studies, due diligence assessments, enhancement studies, and HAZOP studies.
  • Take on the lead role in process safety management, overseeing HAZOP, PSR, SIL, PSSR, RA, and alarm rationalization.
  • Lead HAZOP/Process Safety Reviews of plant operations and new modifications.
  • Manage long and short-term projects by proposing major projects to improve safety, reliability, and profitability.
  • Prepare design requests, budget justifications, and detailed implementation plans for economically justifiable projects.
  • Develop detailed engineering design packages for in-house process-oriented projects and follow up on implementation.
  • Ensure environmental and safety awareness by working closely with the facility Safety and Environment management to improve safety and achieve the highest environmental standards.
Requirements
