About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Account Manager to join our team at BT. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive global customer partnership strategy that drives revenue and profit for our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a global customer partnership strategy aligned with our company's objectives and technological roadmap.
  • Work with key stakeholders to drive a comprehensive sales and technology strategy to support customer ambitions and BT's account growth.
  • Proactively identify potential stakeholders and initiate discussions to grow relationships between our organization and customers.
  • Foster collaborative relationships between customers and internal teams, ensuring seamless integration of technologies for product enhancement and innovation.
  • Build and lead a high-performing customer-focused sales team, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a diverse culture of innovation and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Experience of setting vision, ambition, and strategy for a global multinational customer account.
  • Experience in management of complex, multi-level customer relationships, geographic teams, and business performance.
  • Strong experience in sales in a B2B Business Development or Account Management role.
  • Experience in managing infrastructure and security partners and collaborating with internal cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.
  • Experience in engaging and influencing decision-makers at various levels internally and externally.
  • Track record in delivering results and self-accountability.
