About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Principal Product Manager to drive the success of our EU Global Fleet Program within Amazon Logistics.

This is a high-impact role that requires a strong leader to develop and execute a product roadmap that aligns with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop Fleet Planning Models: Design and implement scalable fleet planning models to optimize our fleet capacity and meet peak demand.
  2. Collaborate with Finance Partners: Work closely with finance business partners to ensure our plans are efficient and meet peak demand requirements.
  3. Define Fleet Demand Forecasting Metric: Develop and own a metric to measure fleet demand forecasting accuracy.
  4. Secure Stakeholder Buy-in: Be accountable for securing buy-in from VP and senior stakeholders on significant fleet CAPEX investment and OPEX decisions.
  5. Consolidate Stakeholder Input: Consolidate input from various stakeholders and ensure fleet plans reflect the latest assumptions.
  6. Drive Electrification and MoT Integration: Drive the transition to electrification and integration of MoT into fleet requirement planning.
  7. Expand to New Markets: Extend our process to new business customer organizations and countries to be launched over the next years.
About the Team

The EU Amazon Logistics (AMZL) Fleet Planning, Analytics (FPA) team operates within Global Fleet & Products, responsible for EU AMZL fleet requirement definition, sourcing, short-term deployment scheduling, business intelligence, and analytics support.

Requirements
  1. Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  2. Experience in Product Management: Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition, feature delivery, and tradeoffs of a product.
  3. Technical Product Management: Experience in technical product management, program management, or engineering.
  4. Leadership Experience: Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
  5. End-to-End Product Delivery: Experience with end-to-end product delivery.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Experience Working with Engineers: Experience working directly with engineers on product enhancements.
  2. Project Management Experience: Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement.
