Job Description

We are seeking a Principal Architect to join our Blockchain team. As a Principal Architect, you will be at the forefront of our technological advancements, driving the architectural vision and strategy for our blockchain products and solutions. You will lead a team of talented engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement cutting-edge blockchain applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architectural Leadership: Define and lead the architectural vision and strategy for our systems, ensuring alignment with business goals and technological advancements.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide deep technical expertise in blockchain technologies, distributed systems and financial systems.
  • System Design: Design and oversee the implementation of highly scalable, secure, and efficient blockchain systems and applications.
  • Leadership: Mentor and lead a team of architects/engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, business and operations, to align technical solutions with business objectives.
  • Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, driving innovation and incorporating best practices into our solutions.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential technical risks and devise strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the robustness and reliability of our systems.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of architectural designs, technical specifications, and best practices.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership or architectural role.
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing large-scale, distributed software systems.
  • Strong proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript) and modern development frameworks.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of security architecture, security principles, frameworks, standards and industry best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams including senior stakeholders, clients and C-suite executives.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor technical teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
