About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Dutch Payroll Specialist to join our team at Alight. As a key member of our payroll team, you will be responsible for supporting and executing payroll activities and/or data management/customer services activities to ensure accurate and timely output.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Payroll Processing: Independently process payroll end-to-end to ensure delivery as per agreed processing calendars and KPIs.
  2. Statutory and Year-End Reporting: Support statutory and year-end reporting to agreed calendars and KPIs.
  3. Client Support: Use payroll expertise to advise on client queries/issues and ensure a strong understanding of country-specific legislation and tasks.
  4. Knowledge Transfer: Support and knowledge transfer to apprentices and/or associates on data management or customer service activities.
  5. Customer Service: Ensure tickets and calls are responded to within SLA timescales and to a high standard.
  6. System Maintenance: Support system maintenance testing.
  7. Third-Party Liaison: Liaise and transact with third parties.
  8. SOC Controls: Complete SOC controls on time and with necessary evidence.
  9. Root Cause Analysis: Support and contribute to root cause analysis to ensure details are accurate and feasible preventative measures are suggested to limit reoccurrence.
  10. Knowledge Transfer Sessions: Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and ensure the audience has understood and can put into practice.
  11. Process Maintenance: Maintain DWIs to ensure processes are up-to-date and reflective of the service.
  12. System Issues: Report all system issues/defects correctly and log tickets with necessary details and evidence.
  13. Scope of Service: Highlight to the service manager any deviations from the standard scope of service.
  14. Confidentiality: Recognize and deal appropriately with sensitive and confidential information.
  15. Team Collaboration: Contribute to team meetings and raise any issues immediately to the service manager.
  16. Stakeholder Relationships: Build good relationships with internal stakeholders and keep them up-to-date when needed.
