Role Overview
As a pivotal member of our logistics team, reporting to the Control Tower Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing various functions related to Inbound and Distribution Logistics Management.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Setup - Develop and maintain a comprehensive blueprint of operational processes and ensure the team is adequately trained and prepared. Oversight and Execution - Manage Carrier and Transport operations, ensuring adherence to logistics service standards, including lead times, pickups, and deliveries. Conduct performance reporting, root-cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Cost Control - Monitor expenses and manage customer service exceptions, addressing incidents and safeguarding the value proposition in daily operations. Claims Management - Handle claims related to damages and losses, ensuring effective Account and Supplier Management, including KPI control and OTIF. Supplier Contributions - Prepare calculations for supplier contributions and adapt to evolving country-specific requirements.Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Logistics, Transport, Supply Chain, or a related field. Proven experience in team leadership and international collaboration. Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and determination. A passion for continuous process improvement and analytical thinking. Strong analytical skills and an inquisitive mindset. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of German is a plus.Benefits
