Job Description

WorldITFinder, a leading provider of IT solutions, is seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Infrastructure Integration
    • Audit existing customer IT infrastructure, including networking and security requirements.
    • Consult with customers and our sales organization on solution design.
    • Install and configure our solution software on physical or virtual infrastructure.
    • Connect our instruments and software with each other, and with the customer's Laboratory Information Systems.
    • Validate and qualify the data flow between all components.
    • Document the architecture and report on the installation project.
  • Customer Support
    • Install our remote service solution.
    • Diagnose and repair systems remotely or on site.
    • Act as customer focal point for IT and integration problem resolution.
    • Maintain close contact with our Level 2 service organization to escalate important issues and for continuous learning and improvement.
    • Roll-out upgrades in coordination with our customers.
    Requirements
    • IT Bachelor or Master in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related technical field.
    • A minimum of 2 years of working experience in Information Technology, with background in IT technologies and concepts, including network, databases, middleware, interfaces, and applications.
    • Master network basics and platform configuration, with experience in Windows OS installation and maintenance, and in Virtual Machines.
    • Experience in the IVD Space and knowledge of Salesforce and SAP are a plus.
    • Ability to analyze, recommend, and challenge proposals to create effective solutions.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with ability to multi-task.
    • Fluency in English (oral and written), with ability to exchange in German with customers in Germany.
