Job Summary

Deimos Space is seeking a highly skilled Thermal Engineer to support our team in the development of space systems and satellite platforms. As a key member of our Systems Engineering Competence Centre, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in thermal control and thermal protection subsystems.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and studies across Deimos Space projects in the thermal control area, throughout all project phases.
  • Perform analysis to support thermal subsystem architecture definition and monitor applicable scientific and technological trends.
  • Participate in feasibility studies, project reviews, and the evaluation or generation of technical proposals.
  • Contribute to dissemination activities within the company and externally, including publications and papers.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in the aerospace industry.
  • Experience in spacecraft thermal engineering, related technologies, and a general knowledge of space thermal control subsystems.
  • Knowledge of thermal analysis and design tools, including CATIA, ESATAN-TMS, SINDA/FLUINT, SYSTEMA, and NX Thermal.
  • Knowledge of MBSE philosophy and detailed knowledge of systems and subsystems encompassing a spacecraft.
  • Experience in writing technical and project implementation documentation.
  • Expertise in analysing technical data, verifying, and sustaining specific systems configurations in accordance with defined constraints and driving/operational/technical requirements.

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of Capella MBSE Tool and/or Valispace.
