**Job Summary**
Vertiv is seeking a highly skilled Thermal Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Thermal Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the installation, service, and repair of our products at customer premises, while maintaining strong relationships with customers, salesmen, distributors, and other stakeholders within your area.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Respond to service calls in a professional manner while on duty.
- Read, understand, and comply with all procedures outlined in the Field Procedure Manual.
- Perform all work in a safe manner, adhering to established company safety policy and local regulations.
- Keep the dispatching center informed of your schedule and the status of all open jobs.
- Ensure spare parts are properly accounted for using established parts procedures.
- Submit paperwork in a timely, accurate, and complete manner, and debrief performed jobs at the customer's premises.
- Maintain the accuracy of the customer and installed base database by reporting errors.
- Report and promote sales or service leads to the proper department.
- Actively seek technical leads and service business opportunities.
- Be a reference point for key customers in case of emergency and troubleshooting.
- Work closely with department supervisors to assist with day-to-day operational duties.
- Ensure availability to work during weekends and nights in compliance with local labor laws.
- Attend environmental trainings as required.
- Comply with waste producer's requirements established by current legislation.
**Requirements**
- High school diploma in Air Conditioning or Electrical engineering.
- Native language skills in the local language; good English skills.
- 4 years of experience in technical service area working in a service or test environment of Air conditioning equipment.
- Computer literacy; well-organized and able to work under pressure; very flexible work hours.
**Physical and Environmental Demands**
- A significant amount of after-hours and weekend work, frequently scheduled with little notice.
- Travel.
