Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Security Engineer to join our team at Willows Landing Senior Living. As a Product Security Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting security reviews on all of our products, providing security education to our engineers, and handling externally reported vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct security reviews on all of our products to identify potential vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for remediation.
  • Provide security education to our engineers to ensure they have the necessary knowledge and skills to develop secure products.
  • Handle externally reported vulnerabilities and work with our development teams to remediate them.
  • Develop and implement vulnerability mitigation strategies to prevent future vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with our engineering teams to design and implement secure products.
Requirements
  • Expertise in identifying common web application vulnerabilities through secure code reviews.
  • Proficient in conducting manual web application penetration tests using industry-standard tools.
  • Extensive knowledge of modern web application components, architecture, and design principles.
  • Ability to explain vulnerability risks, impact, and remediation options to developers.
  • Coding ability in at least one scripting language.
  • Ability to provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and non-security staff.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of current authentication and authorization protocols.
  • Experience in mobile device application penetration testing.
  • Experience with testing Windows desktop applications.
  • Knowledge of current cryptographic algorithms and techniques.
  • Experience in attacking network protocols and analyzing network traffic.
