About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Geoanalytics Analyst to join our X.Delivery Teams, which leverage available tools and code bases to deliver powerful and specialized insights that help our clients tackle their most pressing business problems. As a Geoanalytics Analyst, you will be part of a global resource, working with clients in every BCG region and industry area. You will utilize your knowledge of geospatial data and analytics while using tools such as Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Python, and visualization/analytical platforms (e.g., Tableau, Alteryx).
Key Responsibilities- Solve a variety of location-based analytical problems for our clients
- Utilize geospatial data and analytics to drive business insights
- Develop and implement geospatial clustering, network analysis, location-based optimization, and predictive analytics/modeling techniques
- Distill insights from analysis and link them to business objectives
- Contribute to IP development, content development, and support internal marketing
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience in GeoAnalytics with an advanced degree preferred
- Relevant degree in geospatial-related fields such as Geography, Geology, Environmental Science, Remote Sensing, Urban Planning, Statistics/GeoStatistics, Applied Mathematics, or Computer Science
- Previous experience working in a global organization or professional services firm is preferred
- Demonstrated experience in GIS software, descriptive statistics, data management, data science programming, and business intelligence/data visualization platforms
Our X.Delivery Teams are a hybrid client-facing/consulting-support that leverages available tools and code bases to deliver powerful and specialized insights that help our clients tackle their most pressing business problems. We partner with BCG case teams across the full analytics value chain, framing new business challenges and problems, designing and executing innovative analytical solutions, and interpreting findings for our clients.
