Job Title: Database Administrator

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team at Ria. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning, tracking, and resolving database-related incidents and requests within provided SLAs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review service-related reports to ensure service-related issues are identified and resolved within established SLAs.
  • Respond to database-related alerts and escalations.
  • Work with database engineering to come up with strategic solutions to recurring problems.
  • Ensure and maintain the readiness and operability in the Production and KC / DR datacenter database servers for the Ria Financial databases.
  • Proactively escalate any issues that cannot be resolved within the established timeframes.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years experience as a Microsoft SQL Server DBA in SQL Server 2014 and above.
  • Experience with SQL Server Replication.
  • Experience in Performance Tuning and Optimization using monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database problems.
  • Experience with SQL Server Integration / Reporting Services.
  • Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for MSSQL Server, such as AlwaysOn Availability Groups.
  • Knowledge of indexes, index management, and statistics.
  • Experience writing at least basic T-SQL queries and reports.
  • Experience in implementing operational automation using scripts.
  • Experience working with Windows server, including Active Directory and proper disk configurations.
