The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Senior HR Generalist with extensive experience in human resources functions to become an integral part of our dynamic People & Culture team. This role is crucial in supporting our diverse workforce, delivering an outstanding employee experience, and aligning HR strategies with our business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all People & Culture operations with a hands-on approach, including payroll, compliance with labor laws, health and safety, employee records, and documentation, while serving as the primary liaison with external partners.
  • Offer guidance and support to both employees and management in areas such as goal setting, performance assessments, and development planning, while also contributing to the creation and implementation of People & Culture policies and best practices.
  • Design and execute initiatives aimed at boosting employee engagement and nurturing a positive workplace culture.
  • Address employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, to cultivate a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Provide HR insights and strategic recommendations to enhance business performance.
  • Facilitate organizational change initiatives through effective communication with employees and stakeholders.
  • Engage in critical decision-making processes, ensuring that People & Culture considerations are integrated into overall business strategies.
  • Assist the People & Culture team with various projects as needed, including events, communications, change management, and research on new initiatives.

Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in HR generalist roles, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of various HR functions.
  • Proven expertise in navigating Spanish labor law procedures.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR regulations, laws, and best practices.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • A proactive, hands-on, and solution-focused approach to HR challenges.
  • Strong negotiation and coaching abilities.
