Project Manager for Service Operations

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Service Project Manager to join our team at HITACHI ENERGY SPAIN, S.A.U. This role is focused on overseeing Battery Energy Storage System projects, ensuring successful execution and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee warranty management and Service Level Agreements (SLA) from project acceptance to completion.
  • Take charge of the project's financial performance.
  • Identify and manage potential project risks effectively.
  • Facilitate the handover process in collaboration with Lead Engineering to ensure comprehensive transfer of project documentation.
  • Coordinate efforts among cross-functional teams, including Service Engineers, Research & Development, and Engineering departments.
  • Liaise with suppliers to support project activities, ensuring timely resolution and delivery of components.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct weekly meetings to review case status and progress.
  • Monitor and report on the status of ongoing cases.
  • Ensure lessons learned are shared within the organization for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the service engineering team to manage spare parts inventory and schedule maintenance activities.
  • Uphold compliance with company health, safety, and environmental standards throughout the project.

Candidate Profile:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in equipment installation and project coordination.
  • Proficient in Office365 applications, including Excel, SAP, and Microsoft Project.
  • Strong command of the English language.
  • Demonstrated flexibility, proactivity, and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Educational background in Management Engineering or a related Engineering field.
