About the Role

As a Program Manager at Amazon Road Transport Spain, S.L.U., you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our transportation services. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and improving initiatives that ensure the smooth running of our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Launch new programs and monitor their performance metrics to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Use data to identify operational challenges and create continuous improvement initiatives to drive progress.
  • Collaborate with various Amazon departments to identify and leverage best practices.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team in overcoming challenges and drive progress within a program environment.
  • Manage stakeholders and internal processes, and define standards to ensure operational excellence.
A Day in the Life

You will work closely with a range of Amazon colleagues to understand how they work and what you and your teams can learn from each other. Together, you will identify exciting new opportunities and take the lead in designing their implementation. You will encourage and support your teams and colleagues to meet important deliverables, while proactively looking for new, data-backed ways to improve our operations.

Requirements
  • A degree in a relevant field.
  • Relevant experience leading cross-functional programs or projects using project-management methodologies.
  • Relevant experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions.
  • Relevant experience leading complex projects with a wide range of stakeholders, including peers and leadership.
  • Experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and/or SQL in a professional environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced or master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Project-management qualification such as PRINCE2, APM, PMI, or similar.
  • Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean.
  • Experience working in an operational environment or with technical teams.
