Join Our Team as a Marketing and Communications Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing and Communications Specialist to join our team at Wearecandee. As a key member of our property management team, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our new aparthotel openings.

About the Role

As a Marketing and Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing marketing strategies to ensure successful launches and continuous growth of our aparthotel portfolio. Your main functions will include:

  • Collaborating with the marketing manager to develop comprehensive marketing strategies for the launch of new aparthotel schemes.
  • Defining the social media strategy, overseeing and approving the content to ensure that social media communication aligns with the overall strategy.
  • Managing the CRM strategy through Hubspot, creating and writing content, designing it, managing the distribution, and measuring the results of email marketing campaigns.
  • Developing compelling content for marketing materials such as the website or brochures.
  • Working closely with the design team to ensure that all visual and written materials are aligned with the brand guidelines.
  • Conducting market research to identify target audiences, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies.
  • Planning and executing launch events and promotional activities to generate buzz and attract potential guests and partners.
  • Engaging in cross-departmental collaboration, working closely with sales and operations teams to ensure that marketing campaigns are consistent and effective.
  • Staying updated on trends and changes in consumer behavior within the hospitality sector.
  • Tracking and reporting regularly on the marketing actions and campaigns carried out, identifying improvement areas for future campaigns.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication and/or Audiovisuals.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in marketing software and tools, such as Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Suite, and CRM systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
  • Knowledge of the Madrid area and local market is a plus.
