Job Title: Global Service Account Director

Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for service sales and customer relationships? Do you have a strong background in technical sales and a desire to work in a dynamic and innovative team? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global Service Account Director to join our team at Vestas.

Job Summary:

The Global Service Account Director will be responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with strategically important large customers. This role requires a strong understanding of the wind energy market and the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with key personnel in assigned accounts
  • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel to meet account performance expectations and customer expectations
  • Meet assigned targets for profitable onshore and offshore service sales volume and strategic targets in assigned accounts
  • Guide the strategic account planning process to ensure the development of shared performance goals, revenue targets, and significant deadlines
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis
  • Manage solution development efforts to create new specific service solutions that best address customer needs
Requirements:
  • Master / bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Demonstrated commercial/sales management skills and a high level of Wind Energy market knowledge
  • Knowledge and understanding of Offshore is advantageous
  • Should be a leader, highly motivated, proactive, and a team collaborator
  • Great negotiation skills are a must for the position

This position reports to the Global Head of Service Strategic Accounts. Enlists the support of WTG Sales Managers, implementation resources, service resources, and other sales and management resources as needed and closely coordinates company executive involvement with customer management, supporting and coordinating regular QBR meetings, providing status and KPI follow-up reports.
