We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our Global Agro team at PepsiCo. As a key member of our Analytics stream, you will play a critical role in driving the digital evolution of our global operations.
Key Responsibilities- Generate actionable insights from agronomic data to inform recommendations for maximizing agricultural production in a sustainable and high-quality manner.
- Ensure seamless data access for discovery and prepare data for model usage in collaboration with data engineers.
- Design and develop analytics pipelines and dashboards to refresh and share results for key use cases, including geo-spatial information, to empower stakeholders with key findings.
- Support large-scale experimentation and build data-driven models to drive business decisions.
- Deploy reusable models and recommendations engines to various regions, tailored to their unique characteristics.
- Research and implement methodologies to fine-tune approaches for each analytics use case, with a focus on validation and lead generation.
- Develop reusable packages or libraries with comprehensive documentation.
- 3+ years of experience in building solutions for the supply chain space.
- 3+ years of experience working in a team to deliver production-level analytic solutions.
- Fluency in git (version control) and SQL syntax.
- 3+ years of experience in ETL and/or data wrangling techniques.
- 3+ years of experience in statistical/ML techniques for supervised (regression, classification) and unsupervised problems.
- Experience in developing business problem-related statistical/ML modeling with industry tools, focusing on Python or PySpark development.
- Experience working with geo-spatial datasets.
- Fluency in one visualization tool, preferably Power BI.
- Experience with crop modeling.
- Experience with climate/weather data.
- Experience with remote sensing.
- Understanding of Docker.
