Information Security Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Manager to join our team at Almirall. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for applying risk management discipline, understanding business risks, defining security requirements and policies, and managing Information Security Projects and Operations.
Key Responsibilities- Build and Evolve the Information Security Discipline
Develop and implement a comprehensive Information Security strategy that encompasses technology, people, and processes. This will involve identifying and mitigating risks, developing security policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Provide Input for the Information Security RoadmapContribute to the development of the Information Security Roadmap, providing expert advice on security requirements and policies. This will involve working closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
Manage Low-Complexity Security ProjectsTake ownership of low-complexity security projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This will involve managing project scope, cost, and progress, as well as providing regular reports to stakeholders.
Interact with IT Functions and Business StakeholdersBuild strong relationships with IT functions and business stakeholders to understand business risks, concerns, and objectives. This will involve providing expert advice on security matters and assisting stakeholders in making risk-informed decisions.
Apply Risk Management PracticesApply risk management practices to the business, identifying and mitigating risks that could impact the organization. This will involve developing risk mitigation plans and working with stakeholders to implement those plans.
Translate IS Requirements into Security PoliciesTranslate Information Security requirements into security policies at a technical level, ensuring that they enable business objectives. This will involve working closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
Provide Technical AssuranceProvide technical assurance to risk assessment and risk monitoring activities, ensuring that they are conducted in accordance with relevant regulations and standards. This will involve providing hands-on technical expertise and working closely with stakeholders to ensure that risks are properly assessed and mitigated.
Support Security OperationsSupport low-complexity security operations, including alert management, business impact analysis, action plans, and follow-up. This will involve working closely with stakeholders to ensure that security operations are conducted in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.
Lead Personnel Awareness ActionsLead personnel awareness actions, including presentations, communications, and training. This will involve working closely with stakeholders to ensure that personnel are aware of security risks and are equipped to mitigate those risks.
Requirements- Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Field
A bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as computer science, information technology, or a related field.
At Least 5 Years of Experience in a Similar RoleAt least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in information security, risk management, and technical assurance.
Specific KnowledgeTechnology savvy (IT infrastructure & Security components), risk management methodologies, cybersecurity, business analysis, and security standards and frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF).
