Position Overview
Join the UAT QA team at Verisk, where you will play a crucial role in the Implementation aspect of Technology Operations. You will be responsible for overseeing UAT and QA functions.
This position requires expertise in developing and enhancing test cases, automation, and conducting thorough quality assurance testing in collaboration with our teams across various locations to fulfill client requirements and support internal initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine methodologies for writing, storing, updating, and executing UAT test cases.
  • Create comprehensive test scenarios and manage extensive test data in UAT.
  • Handle multiple projects concurrently.
  • Execute test cases to validate builds, new functionalities, and more.
  • Certify and approve user stories and releases.
  • Maintain a meticulous approach to both manual and automated testing processes.
  • Identify, document, and monitor defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
  • Participate actively in the agile team, attending stand-ups, retrospectives, and other meetings.
  • Manage time effectively to meet critical deadlines.
  • Prioritize tasks independently and demonstrate self-motivation.
  • Evaluate and enhance existing methodologies and processes.
Required Qualifications

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
  • Proficient in analyzing large datasets to identify anomalies and inconsistencies.


  • Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Lifecycle.
  • Prior experience as a QA Analyst in a technology-focused organization.
  • Experience in UAT with a focus on data analytics, back-end testing, and test case development for clients.
  • Quick learner, adaptable to various Testing Methodologies and Tools.
  • Advocate for Quality Assurance and Best Testing Practices.
  • Strong team player, capable of collaborating with both local and remote teams.
  • Self-motivated, especially under tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality.
  • Solid understanding of Project Life Cycle and Agile Methodologies.
  • Proficient in using Jira for task management and tracking.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Additional Experience (not mandatory):

  • Familiarity with SQL and programming languages (C#, Java, Python, etc.).
  • Experience in creating automation scripts using JMeter, Postman, or Python/JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of tools such as Confluence, TFS, Cucumber, Playwright, Soap UI, Postman, MS Access, and Excel.
  • Understanding of the insurance sector.
  • Experience in API testing.
