**Job Summary**

We're seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for the accurate testing of software used by insurance market professionals. You will work under limited supervision and help direct the work of more junior QA Analysts.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Gradually perform manual testing in more complex areas across the application.
  • Able to own small-to-medium features with guidance from test case design through implementation to completion.
  • Capable of designing moderately complex test cases.
  • Conduct exploratory testing to find promptly defects.
  • Provides accurate estimates for themselves and others.
  • Identifies solutions to issues blocking testing with minimal assistance.
  • Reviews test cases executed by less experienced testers.
  • Reviews User Stories, as well as testable requirements providing feedback.
  • Logs and tracks defects of their area.
  • Proactively engages with analysts to get more business knowledge.

**Requirements**

  • Demonstrable experience in similar roles.
  • Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude to face more complex business scenarios.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Good knowledge of insurance business processes.
  • Ability to express complex bugs, situations or problems in a concise and precise manner.
  • Knowledgeable in SQL scripting (having its own queries set), SQL server and data model.
  • Creativity when dealing with new and illogical situations.
  • Learns from experience when looking for potential problems and solutions.
  • Capable of prioritising tasks; avoids getting caught up in unimportant details.
