Job Overview
We're seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you'll be responsible for the accurate testing of software used by insurance market professionals.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing in complex areas across the application, ensuring high-quality results.
- Design and implement test cases for small-to-medium features, working closely with the development team.
- Conduct exploratory testing to identify defects and provide accurate estimates for testing efforts.
- Collaborate with analysts to gain a deeper understanding of business processes and requirements.
- Review test cases executed by junior testers and provide feedback for improvement.
- Log and track defects, working with the development team to resolve issues.
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure testing aligns with business objectives.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in software quality assurance, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving aptitude to tackle complex business scenarios.
- High attention to detail and ability to express complex issues in a concise manner.
- Knowledge of SQL scripting, SQL server, and data modeling.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain focus on key objectives.
