Division Chemtech Finance
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our Division Chemtech Finance team. As a Financial Analyst, you will support the division Controller and division CFO with financial analysis, ensuring timely and accurate financial information for business management and decision-making.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive and timely financial information for business management and decision-making.
- Perform month-end closing activities, including variance and root cause analysis (actual, budget, forecast).
- Ensure timely submission of legal entity reporting packages, aligning with Sulzer standards and accuracy of financial records.
- Prepare and deliver trainings to legal entities worldwide for reporting and consolidation system matters.
- Contribute to the monthly preparation of the business review presentation.
- Perform various ad-hoc reporting requests to equip business with financial understanding.
- Monitor and control HQ Cost Centers and CAPEX spending.
- Actively support Budgeting and Forecasting processes.
- Identify and coordinate continuous improvement initiatives for the controlling function.
- Drive automation of reports (QlikSense, QlikView, Sharepoint) and finance process optimization.
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting, Finance or Controlling.
- Min. 3 years of experience in financial analysis or controlling, preferably in corporate finance.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint knowledge.
- Experience with consolidation systems.
- Experience with SAP (FI/CO modules) and business application tools.
- Strong analytical personality with high energy to drive for result.
- Strong problem-solving and ability to prioritize responsibilities, tasks, and processes.
- A positive, flexible, and adaptive approach and a team player attitude.
- Fluency in English, German is beneficial.
