Job Title: Automation Control System Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automation Control System Specialist to join our talented team at Flsmidth. As a key member of our automation team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing machine control solutions for our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive the design and development of automation and machine control systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve integrated and successful project outcomes.
  • Prepare, review, and approve design drawings & specifications, Functional Safety Description, Safety Requirement Specification, IO list, and support IOM/OEM manual creation.
  • Program Safety System and standard PLC architecture, SCADA, and MIMIC development.
  • Support Factory/Site Acceptance Testing (FAT/SAT), in collaboration with field service personnel.
  • Assist in the development of design standards/guides, guide specifications, and design control procedures.
  • Oversee the evaluation and selection of components, technologies, and suppliers to optimize system performance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure successful project delivery.
