Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Specialist to join our team at 087 FLSmidth S.A. as an Automation Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automation systems, including electrical, instrumentation, and machine controls systems.
  • Program and test PLCs, safety systems, and other automation equipment.
  • Develop and implement process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in electrical and controls engineering.
  • Develop and maintain design standards, guides, and procedures.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Automation engineering.
  • Proven experience in automation system design, development, and implementation.
  • Technical expertise in electrical, instrumentation, and machine controls system design, PLC programming, industrial automation, and market trends.
  • Proficiency in Safety Integrity Level (SIL) and knowledge of international safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Project management skills, including experience with project planning, resource allocation, and risk management.
