Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team at Nielseniq. As a key member of our software development team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop scalable software solutions with a focus on quality, performance, and maintainability.
- Participate in software architecture decisions, ensuring the design aligns with business requirements and technical standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop features, and integrate systems.
- Create and maintain Docker containers for development, testing, and production environments.
- Perform code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote best practices in software development.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the software, ensuring stability and reliability.
- Write clear and concise documentation for code, architecture, and processes.
- 4+ years of professional experience in software development.
- Strong foundation in software engineering principles and architecture.
- Extensive experience with Python as the primary programming language.
- Proficiency in Docker for containerization and experience with container orchestration tools (Kubernetes is a plus).
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) is advantageous.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
