Key Responsibilities- Develop and coordinate technical solutions and quotations in response to customer requirements for AVL Simulation & Testing Software.
- Identify new business opportunities for AVL Software Business Unit.
- Develop relationships within existing customer base and acquire new customers for AVL Software Business Unit, driving sales and achieving business targets.
- Make presentations and conduct software demonstrations at customer locations or via online meetings.
- Establish and maintain effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of AVL portfolio, and reach alignments to provide a solution.
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Industrial engineering, Electrical or Electronic engineering, Automotive engineering, or other related SW Engineering.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish. German desirable.
- Self-motivated and capable of setting and executing the strategy to accomplish goals.
- Excellent relationship management, communication, and negotiation skills – ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- High technical understanding.
- Sales or sales support experience.
- Highly customer-focused and able to solve customer-related issues to mutual satisfaction.
- Planning, prioritizing, and coordinating workload with minimal guidance.
- Willingness to travel (10%).
- Commitment and flexibility.
- Knowledge of automotive industry & its current challenges.
- Demonstrated successful experience in technical sales preferred.
- Strong fundamental knowledge of powertrain testing & development (project planning, project work, project management).
- Prove ability and experience of supporting sales operation teams.
- Competence in products, applications, markets, and competition in the Spanish industry (related to automotive software business).
- Experience in CAE Software Sales. Experience with CRM Software sales tools.
