Logistics Sales Professional

C.H. Robinson, a leading global logistics platform, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Sales Executive to join our team in Valencia. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building relationships with potential customers, and promoting C.H. Robinson's logistics services.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Interaction Management: Foster relationships with customers, make sales calls, and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Utilize CRM tools to identify, call, and track prospects to gain core and strategic customer opportunities.
- Territory Management: Visit customers and potential clients within assigned territory 3-to-4 days per week to build relationships and promote C.H. Robinson's services.
- Sales Activity Execution: Effectively execute sales activities to meet or exceed daily, monthly, or annual sales expectations.
- Team Collaboration: Contribute to the regional sales team by sharing opinions, ideas, and best practices to support the success of the entire sales team and the branch.
- Account Management: Remain engaged with customers to maintain relationships and ensure ongoing success of accounts in collaboration with local assigned Account Executive/Account Manager.
- Quote Coordination: Coordinate quotes with Sales Coordinator (where applicable) and facilitate the transition of new customers to the local Account Executive/Account Manager.
- Deal Team Management: Build a winning deal team using the right internal resources, leading and collaborating with International Air, Ocean & Rail and account management teams to develop a tailored solution.
- Customer Needs Assessment: Partner with customers to gather information on their needs and offer tailored solutions based on the C.H. Robinson platform to win business.
- Conflict Resolution: Manage conflict and navigate difficult conversations with customers or internal partners.
- Proposal Development: Build and deliver proposals, tailoring each presentation to the customer.
- Operations Experience: Minimum 4 years of operations experience from a freight forwarder.
- Account Management or Sales Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in account management or sales.
- Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel within assigned territory, minimum 3-4 days per week.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Persuasion and Influence: Strong ability to persuade, motivate, and influence others.
- Self-Driven and Results-Oriented: Self-driven, results-orientated individual with a 'hunter' mentality.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
