Market Development Manager

As an Associate Market Manager at Expedia Group, you will play a key role in driving customer success and growth. Your primary responsibility will be to coach and support customers to maximize their value on our platform.
Key Responsibilities:- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and their account teams, including key decision-makers.
- Identify and create opportunities to grow customer accounts, including meetings and exploratory sessions.
- Understand customer business issues by leveraging internal organizational resources and recommending products, services, and insights that address their needs.
- Develop and implement account plans to acquire and maintain business, and analyze the financial impact of decisions and solutions on customers and the company.
- Guide customers to valuable insights that benefit both the customer and the organization, and gather data and information on potential ideas and solutions for addressing business needs.
- Assist in documenting components of business cases for change, and learn and understand the company's standard contract terms and conditions.
- 0-2 years of experience in a relevant role.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in English and the local language of the market(s).
- Strong communication skills for exchanging information in straightforward situations.
- Growing knowledge of sales techniques.
- Some experience in account management is preferred.
- A willingness to proactively seek help from managers when needed.
- The ability to conduct basic cost, benefit, and risk analyses of possible solutions.
- The ability to identify key stakeholders in account decision-making processes.
- Develops knowledge of the company's products, technologies, and offerings.
- Understands the importance of building and maintaining business relationships with internal and external customers.
