About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our Marketing department at The Ocean Race. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing digital marketing strategies that drive engagement and conversion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Digital Marketing Campaigns
    • Conceptualize and run marketing campaigns within established KPIs.
    • Ensure campaigns are adapted to all digital platforms.
    • Create well-written, error-free copy.
    • Develop and manage digital competitions.
    • Develop and manage digital activities within the company's digital platforms.
    • Analyze campaign performance and suggest improvements.
    • Collaborate with graphic designers to improve the appearance layout of outputs.
    • Maintain a database of customers who have opted to receive our correspondence.
    • Distribute emails through the use of automation software.
    • Ensure emails follow industry policies and best practices.
    • Provide regular monitoring and reporting of the campaign and database performance that includes opens, clicks, conversions, unsubscribes, etc.
    • Devise and execute A-B tests, manage testing calendar, record results, and advise on improvements.
    • Ensure alignment with business priorities and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage Online Game and Metaverse
    • Work closely with our Game developer to manage the success of our Online Game.
    • Manage the marketing campaigns and user interaction alongside Virtual Regatta for The Ocean Race Offshore-Game.
    • Develop marketing campaigns and manage the results of the Stopover E-Cups.
    • Manage the E-Sport competition of Teams.
    • Manage the day-to-day operation of the Metaverse.
    • Develop and run special events inside the Metaverse.
    • Work closely with the Sustainability Team to integrate, promote, and run sustainability activities inside the Metaverse.
Requirements
  • Language
    • English: C1
  • Education
    • Degree in marketing management, advertising, communications, or similar.
  • Experience
    • Prior database management experience, preferably in a similar role.
    • Familiarity with pertinent automation and performance evaluation software.
  • Skills
    • Excellent project management skills specific to marketing.
    • Outstanding copywriting and copyediting abilities.
    • Ability to harness collaboration to produce well-crafted content.
    • Willingness to work extended hours to ensure that projects are completed, as needed.
    • Forward-thinking, dynamic attitude.
