About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team at Roche. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our agile and product needs are effectively adapted and translated into our tool offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise in identifying, evaluating, designing, and deploying systems and processes that are lean and cost-effective, aligning with user requirements and technology roadmaps.
  • Conduct business requirement analysis, develop business cases, and make recommendations to improve the experience on technology products.
  • Analyze, define, and document detailed process workflows through user interviews, facilitated workshops, and expert engagement.
  • Work with business users of new and/or changed products to modify their processes and/or ways of working to derive economic benefits.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management and stakeholders in Business and IT.
  • Ensure all applications supporting the business are compliant with internal Roche security, risk management policies, and practices, external regulatory, and statutory requirements.
  • Facilitate and validate system and user acceptance testing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
  • +3 Years' experience in IT-related environments.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision, plan own work to meet objectives, and work independently.

Desirable Skills:

  • Agile Methodologies Experience (SAFe, Scrum).
  • International experience.
  • Extensive IT Project experience.
  • Other languages.
  • ITIL certification.
  • Technical certifications in related technologies.
  • Familiar with the concepts, standards, technology, tools, processes, procedures, software, and services in use for delivering information services.
  • Strong influencing, communication, and team-working skills at all levels, as well as negotiation skills and a proven track record in getting mutual decisions and sign-offs.
  • Technically and economically oriented analytical mindset paired with problem-solving skills, along with experience of applying industry-standard business analysis methods.
