Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Technician to join our team at Chubb. As an Operations Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our insurance business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Policy Administration
    • Review and process policy instructions from the underwriting team or brokers.
    • Enter premium bookings and prepare policy documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Technical Support
    • Provide technical and administrative support to the management of the online SME portfolio at a portfolio level.
    • Support the standardized model of using Ignite/ICT to provide a seamless, high-quality service to customers.
  • Process Improvement
    • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
    • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to develop and maintain process documentation.
  • System Maintenance
    • Manage user system maintenance within agreed service level agreements.
    • Set up new access, amend, and remove access as required.
  • Broker Support
    • Manage broker network set up and maintenance, including granting new access, amendments, and access removal.
    • Provide broker assistance and respond to general broker correspondence within service level agreements.
  • Quality Control
    • Undertake audits and quality control checking of outsourced and retained work elements.
    • Take personal responsibility for the quality control of own and outsourced work elements.
  • Reporting
    • Produce relevant SOX reporting for team leader sign-off.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Review and monitor outsourced work elements to identify problems or inefficiencies.
    • Track root cause analysis of rework and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Communication
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Language
    • French or Dutch (native or bilingual).
    • English (high/advanced level).
  • Experience
    • Experience within a processing role is essential, particularly experience of following written instructions, data entry, and document/report drafting.
    • Previous commercial insurance experience is preferred.
