Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Amazon Road Transport Spain, S.L.U. in La Coruna, C, ESP.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a Team: Manage and motivate a large and diverse team to ensure the smooth operation of our logistics and transportation services.
- Analyse and Improve: Analyse performance data and implement corrective actions to maintain high quality and productivity levels, and meet business objectives.
- Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with other managers and teams to standardise shift processes and improve customer service.
- Monitor and Maintain: Ensure safety standards are maintained within the team and across the site, and monitor process efficiency.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, including peers and leadership, to address challenges and implement improvements.
You will work shifts and be based at one of our operational sites. Your main focus will be to maintain safety standards within your team and across your site. You will also monitor and maintain process efficiency, prioritise routine team management and daily operational tasks, and address individual escalations and process improvement work.
As a key part of the operations team, you will work with colleagues in other teams and external partners to ensure we meet customer demands and targets. This will involve analysing data and performance metrics with leaders in your business area, and discussing operational pros and cons of technical improvements with engineers.
Requirements- Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree (or working towards a bachelor's degree) in a relevant field.
- Language Skills: Advanced proficiency in written and verbal English and local language.
- Relevant Experience: Relevant experience in performing data analysis and working in a logistical environment.
Preferred qualifications include experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, experience in a logistical working environment, and experience working with the MS Office suite in a professional environment.
