Job Summary
Importante Empresa is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Ventilation and Anaesthesia Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our customers in Spain.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer calls and provide technical support and maintenance services within 24 hours of initial contact.
- Manage designated service area, promoting new contracts and liaising with customers for renewals.
- Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits on time and to the levels outlined in the service manual.
- Assist sales and marketing team with tender opportunities as technical support and to promote service contracts.
- Maintain tools and test equipment properly and liaise with the Service Supervisor/Manager to ensure they are calibrated.
- Maintain spare parts inventory, company vehicle, and other company equipment and supplies.
- Occasionally train clinical staff on designated equipment.
- Track and maintain both parts and loaner inventories allocated to them.
Requirements
- Field-based service experience within Ventilation and Anaesthesia capital equipment is essential.
- Technically proficient in the troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of all medical products.
- Evidence of IT connectivity and networks.
- Ability to address customer requests through strong listening skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong relationships.
- Proven negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Ability to work in Spain without the requirement of company sponsorship.
- Flexible to travel as required.
