We are seeking a highly skilled Water Reuse Specialist to join our Technical Service and Development Team in EMEA. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical service and support in the design, implementation, and optimization of wastewater processes and technologies for municipal and industrial water reuse.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Expertise: Become a subject matter expert on water reuse applications, providing technical guidance and consultation to internal teams and external clients to ensure efficient and effective system designs, adequate operation, and troubleshooting.
- Customer Engagement: Present technical proposals and solutions to customers, address their queries and concerns, and manage opportunities at any stage on a technical level.
- Market Development: Develop joint engagement programs with commercial and marketing teams to increase business visibility and positioning as a technology partner in priority markets.
- Customized Solutions: Collaborate with customers to understand their water treatment requirements and develop customized solutions.
- Feasibility Studies: Conduct feasibility studies, analyze water quality data, and recommend appropriate technology, equipment, and operating conditions to achieve desired treatment outcomes.
- Training and Support: Provide training and technical support to customers, operators, and field service personnel on system operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and water reuse handling.
- Technical Presentations: Develop and deliver technical presentations and workshops, and customer seminars as needed.
- Market Exploration: Explore and define new markets and applications for existing products based on market feedback, regional needs, and regulatory drivers.
- Product Improvement: Provide feedback to strategic marketing, commercial, and R&D teams for product improvement and development opportunities.
- Documentation: Compile and update product documentation material, such as case histories and customer success cases.
- Industry Representation: Give technical presentations and talks at conferences, exhibitions, and customer seminars.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. A Master's degree or Ph.D. preferred.
- Language Skills: English: highly proficient in both spoken and written, plus local language skills.
- Experience: 10 years of experience in technical functions, such as Technical Sales, Technical Service, or Project Management in water treatment.
- Technical Expertise: Relevant technical experience with UF & RO Technologies, understanding of water technologies theory, and its practical application in water and water reuse space.
- Water Quality Knowledge: Familiarity with water quality parameters, such as pH, conductivity, TDS, hardness, alkalinity, and contaminants commonly found in various water sources.
- Travel Requirements: Readiness to attend business trips, up to 25% of the time.
- Customer Focus: Customer-centric attitude and capability to build up customer relationships and trust.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers, internal teams, and stakeholders.
- Technical Communication: Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Digital Technology: Strong skills in digital technology and data analysis.
- Interpersonal Skills: Good interpersonal skills and capability to work in a multinational environment.
