Accounts Receivable Analyst

As an Accounts Receivable Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial interactions with our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Debt Collection Oversight: Engage with clients through various communication channels to ensure timely debt recovery.
  • Payment Monitoring: Conduct daily checks on customer payments within the organization's ERP systems.
  • Invoice Reconciliation: Ensure accuracy by reconciling payments against invoices.
  • Discrepancy Resolution: Collaborate with clients and internal departments to address and resolve any financial discrepancies.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports related to client finances, including ageing reports and internal control documentation.
  • Cash Flow Forecasting: Actively contribute to forecasts by providing insights on customer payment trends.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular contact with various stakeholders, delivering clear and precise information from the collections department.
  • Legal Coordination: Work alongside legal entities to enhance collection efforts through coordinated actions.
  • Process Improvement: Suggest enhancements to the AR manager aimed at increasing efficiency within the collections team.
  • Invoice Management: Review and issue invoices, ensuring effective communication with customers.
  • Tax Compliance: Understand and apply local tax billing regulations.
  • Electronic Invoicing: Manage invoicing through platforms such as Tungsten, Ariba, and others.
  • Performance Metrics: Prepare reports that include key performance indicators and internal controls.
  • Experience Requirement: A minimum of two years in collections or billing roles, with relevant responsibilities.
  • ERP Proficiency: Familiarity with accounts receivable modules in ERP systems.
  • Educational Background: Vocational training or higher education related to finance or accounting.
  • Team Leadership: Experience in managing teams effectively.
  • Customer Focus: A strong commitment to teamwork and customer service, with a proactive and flexible approach.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in English (C1), with additional languages such as German, Dutch, or French being advantageous.
