About the Role

X-Elio is a leading global renewable energy company seeking a skilled Grid Connection Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing all stages of HV grid connection design of renewable projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and optimize conceptual/schematic/detailed design of HV grid connection design, including calculations, technical specifications, and drawings.
  • Conduct quantity surveys and budgeting of designs to produce the design BOQ.
  • Manage and communicate engineering/technical input to site evaluation and characterization.
  • Represent X-Elio in meetings, negotiations with clients, suppliers, consultants, utilities, and regulatory authorities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Master's degree in Photovoltaic, Renewable Energy, or similar is a plus.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in MV/HV electromechanical design of substation and UG/OH lines.
  • Knowledge of HV Interconnection design in accordance with TSO and DSO standards.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of ETAP simulation tool is a plus.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish. Knowledge of Italian is a plus.
