Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at oilandgas. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of electrical systems for our grid connection and electrical BoP projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Grid Connection Application
  • Coordinate with technical consultants to prepare and review technical documentation for grid connection applications.
  • Support project development teams in electrical and grid matters addressed to system operators during the grid connection application process.
  • Provide regular reporting on the status of grid connection applications and related matters.
  • Negotiate grid technical requirements and prepare contract documents to secure necessary grid agreements.
Electrical BoP Design Management
  • Define the electrical BoP conceptual design and conduct early-stage technical feasibility assessments.
  • Coordinate technical consultants in the preparation of preliminary electrical BoP designs, including substation, collection system, electrical equipment sizing calculations, and specifications.
  • Prepare and review single-line diagrams, layouts, schemes of measurements, controls, and protection systems.
Grid Capacity Identification
  • Scan grid capacity availability from system operators in Spain on a monthly basis.
  • Coordinate technical consultants to prepare preliminary studies for identifying areas where grid capacity is available and related network constraints to connect wind projects.
  • Assess grid requirements in various markets.
Requirements
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and grid connection applications.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in technical documentation and contract negotiation.
